A narrative is proposed from the point of view of Apel's daughter of personal memories that help to delineate some of the most outstanding features of the father's personality

Dorothea Apel, Universität Witten/Herdecke, Germany

Dorothea Apel, member of the International Philosophical Center Karl-Otto Apel (Consenza, Italy) and the International Network for Ethical Discourse. She is currently working to obtain her PhD at the University of Witten/Herdecke under the guidance of Mathias Kettner.

Laura Molina-Molina, Universidad de Granada, Spain

Laura Molina-Molina is postdoctoral investigator of DAAD at the Internationales Zentrum für Philosophie of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn, Germany. Her main areas of investigation are: K. O. Apels Theory of Knowldege and critical hermeneutics and the concept of truth in the New Realism of M. Ferraris and M. Gabriel.
